Wow, that's a lot of exams! Why does my year have to be the first year to take those new toughened exams. It's not fair

I found my youngest brother's chemistry paper very easy, there were several concepts in mine that they've moved from GCSE to A Level, and as such scored much lower on my paper than he did in his actual exam!Wow, that's a lot of exams! I completely flunked my GCSE's literally scraping 5 GCSE's at A* to C and this July I shall graduate from a decent university with a good degree. GCSE's are not the end of the world!

Mine were all squashed into four weeks too, with many sessions comprising three straight exams with only minimal breaks (no seeing friends between exams, for example). Still, I loved those days! Good luck Vortex. Hope you come out with the results you’re looking for! – Mark P.S. Physics FTW! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Vortexhaha |

How long does each paper take to sit nowadays? I remember my GCSE Physics included a three hour paper. As it only took a little over an hour to complete, the rest of the exam was very, very boring. There's only so many times you can recheck your answers. Log in to reply |

I have to say that with me experiences with study leave, its not necessarily the best for some people. While yea it does allow people who can focus to get a lot of revision done, for many others it's time seem as a holiday almost and no revision greys done until night before if that. As for me, I spent as much time at school during study leave, maybe starting later was all, same for A levels, and off topic of exams let's not forget the early morning finishes of uni coursework James Log in to reply |
