Good afternoon! I am going to buy a Surface Pro 4 for job and school and I was just wondering if someone here have tested SimSig on it? Looking forward to play SimSig on a touch screen. Thank you! - Stig - Stig Log in to reply |

It works on the Surface Pro 3: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=14&id=40670&Itemid=0#78431 However, there have been a couple of threads about using SimSig with touchscreens: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=14&id=39173&Itemid=0#69126 http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=14&id=40949&Itemid=0#80043 It seems that no-one's found touchscreens particularly useful when using SimSig. As far as I'm aware, there's no good reason it shouldn't run, assuming it's an x86 rather than ARM chip and runs a fairly standard copy of windows.

I've been using a Linx 1010b since January, and have installed and played a few sims with it. Whilst on paged sims I can get away using the touch screen, for any sims where I have to scroll I willplug in my mouse.

" said:Thank you for all the great answers!I cheat a little I must be honest and use a mouse. I prefer a mouse but use the pen and touch screen for other things at times. Have never used touchscreen for SimSig if I am honest Last edited: 10/06/2016 at 05:35 by bri2808 Log in to reply |
