Can't find a diagram/plan for the signal numbering at York. Have searched the Documentation Wiki but no responses for signalling number plan. The exiting documentation for York uses signal numbers in reference to operations, and come correspondence in the forum refers to signal numbers. In the early days of SimSig you could find out the signal numbers through the simulation itself, but this facility seems to have been taken out - unless there is a way of displaying this info of which i am unaware. Can anyone help supply a link for this info.

Press F3 (options), click on Control tab, untick "Right-click cancels route". This shows the signal number when right-clicked upon. The signal number plans are not provided by SimSig but by a kind soul. Broadly speaking: 19x Holgate 2xx York station, Skelton, avoiding lines 3xx Skelton and Tollerton 4xx/5xx Thirsk and Northallerton 6xx shunt signals York and northwards 7xx Church Fenton to south of York 8xx/9xx Temple Hirst, Hambleton, to Colton 18xx Hull lines, Selby to Gascoigne Wood 52xx shunt signals Colton 59xx shunt signals Temple Hirst / Hambleton Hope that's a start.
