Fairly sure it indicates they return to the normal position by themselves as soon as a route is released (self replacing?) or self normalising.

SR = self-restoring - as to that red bar however, I've got no idea.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

The Red bar is a debugging indication that's slipped through the net for removal prior to release. It indicates an interlocking boundary and has no bearing on the operation of the sim so can be ignored.

Was it deliberately left in ? Some of my upcoming sims will be shipping with the ability to display interlocking boundaries.

As it's the only one left out of several removed I suspect it's left in by mistake.
