Please can someone explain what "SR" means and also the purpose of the red bar at Springs Jn. Thanks.

Fairly sure it indicates they return to the normal position by themselves as soon as a route is released (self replacing?) or self normalising.

SR = self-restoring - as to that red bar however, I've got no idea.
