Hi, I don't know if anyone has noticed but if you look at the list of neighbouring sims in the discussion dialog box there is mention of one entitled "1066 Country" which, I guess, could be a possible future release. In view of its name I also guess that if "1066 Country" became a reality it would cover the areas of control of the signalboxes at Bo-Peep Junction and at Hastings. One thought which occurs to me is this: shouldn't any "1066 Country" sim also show the line on the East Coastway sim between Bo-Peep Junction and Pevensey Bay (even though it would not be under the 1066 sim's area of control) for historical accuracy? For any of our foreign members who don't understand my thinking, Pevensey Bay was where William landed in 1066 to commence his conquest of England. Just a thought. Dave Log in to reply |

What data the developer specifies for the external signalboxes is only for a passive amount of future provision, and to be honest I wouldn't read much into it, future areas that haven't been simulated yet can be a bit fluid in what is actually included in them. I mean to give one example, when I first started Shrewsbury, it wasn't going to have the boxes past Crewe bank included! Or even East Coastway itself - originally just Lewes when it was announced publicly for the first time.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. Log in to reply |
