After sharing my exploits with Virgin East Coasts 1E18 and 1E19 from Darlington last week and previous trips I was beginning to think it was me that was the jinx. I am pleased to note that today's 1E19 the 16:28 from Darlington brought the wires down in the Northallerton area and is currently reported as 256 minutes late passing Welwyn. Lightening does not strike twice in the same place does it? Mind I have just received my latest cheque from Virgin for the last trip so they do get something right.
