Yes, I know there's and Exe. file for Peterborough, but the emphasis is on the ECML only. Perhaps a bigger one covering the XC lines to Ely (including Queen Adelaide Curve) and Melton Mowbray (Old Dalby on a sim anybody?), the NVR heritage line and the Spalding and Deeping line. Another thing to remember is that the real signallers do the entire ex-LNER area up to Newark N. Gate and around halfway to the MML at Leicester. Also, the WTT supplied is outdated (2003) perhaps a 2015/16/17/18? WTT would be better.

The Peterborough simulation covers the area that Peterborough PSB controls, plus a small amount of the King's Cross area at Biggleswade which couldn't fit in the original King's Cross simulation.

Peterborough- Ely is covered as part of the Cambridge simulation.

The other areas would make good simulations, but to include them all in Peterborough would make the area impractically large, as well as breaking every TT written for the existing Peterborough simulation.

But not from Peterborough box.

Doncaster controls north of stoke to south of Heck.

Then on the melton line its uffington, ketton, manton, oakham, langham, melton (all included in the leicester sim which is floating in the ether)

Old dalby is just a ground frame released by melton mowbray and wouldnt play any part in a sim other than as an entry point

"Around halfway" to Leicester? Where exactly is the boundary between the area that Peterborough's signalmen control and the Leicester area, then?

The correct answer, of course, is as jc92 says, but with the addition of Ashwell, Whissendine and Frisby (plus two crossing keepers) to the list. The whole lot from Uffington (inclusive) westwards comes under the East Midlands "route" nowadays and is staffed and managed from that end. Nothing to do with Peterborough.

Peterborough PSB fringes are:
* King's Cross, at Lindsells on the Downs and the south end of Sandy on the Ups.
* Nene Valley Railway
* King's Dyke (on the line to March)
* Eastfield Junction within Peterborough Yard
* St.James Deeping on the Spalding line
* Uffington on the line to Leicester
* Doncaster just south of Stoke Tunnel
The Peterborough sim extends south to Arlesey for historical reasons, and extends to Ketton and Spalding. It also shows some track and signals outside these areas to give reasonable approaches (these are or will be controlled by other sims when chained).
