Hi all,

Having only been on here for six months or so I occurs to me that the one thing we, collectively don't do well is show our appreciation for the amount of work the Timetable Compilers and their team of testers do.

There are many, many weeks and months of work in compiling even a small timetable, followed by several weeks of testing and bug fixing.

Without them we have no Simsig, so its about time we said a collective thank you for many (wo)man hours they put in, almost all of it unpaid.

Thank you, timetable compilers and testers. Your work is very much appreciated.

Vince

As a timetable writer i only have had a few words of thanks. Although writing a tt is a very slow and long process and sometimes tedious these few has not bothered me mut more would be most welcome. I am currently working on a few tt's at the moment but one of them i am waiting for a sim update to certain areas although i am continuing as far as i can

I'm 100% with you on this. Many thanks to all the developers and TT writers.

Finding SimSig has given me a whole new interest. I'm even going on a whole day 'Signal Box Experience' with the Watercress line and will be pulling levers, etc. in one of their signal boxes in the not too distant future. Am I crazy, or what?

Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate.

Thank you for your words Vince, (and also Bugsy & Vloris), they are much appreciated. Writing is very time consuming especially as life always gets in the way of the best laid plans but made worthwhile to the enjoyment it gives all those who download those that I write, but is always nice to see people post their thanks rather than just posting when an error may have slipped through the net of myself and my testers.

I currently have 7 timetables in various stages of progress, ranging from small single player sims to some of the largest available with some of the timetables being completely new and others being updated with UIDs and "tidied" behind the scenes to make them compatible with any nearby areas that may or may not be simulated in the future (I'm not privy to that info so don't make assumptions when what I'm writing get released - it's just making it easier in the longrun for myself if they happen to be)

Thanks again and gives a bit of encouragement to dust off the databases and that F4 editor menu!

Gareth
