Running York North/South. I gave permission for crossing user to cross, ( LC 54 ),and replaced signals 335,337,342,344. When a train occupied T/C TNG on the approach to 335 signal I had an irate phone call "Oi I thought it was safe". is LC 54 correctoly placed on the sim?

Geoff,

Today, I received the above post in my email. I do not know how I came to get it. Originally posted 31/08/2016.

Is there an easy way of checking this? I noted LC54 is mentioned in Mantis 17497. #17497 is still not resolved.

If I had to guess - and it would be a guess because I haven't seen the data - signal 335 hasn't been included in the crossing data.

MWLs are basically the same as AHBs; the main difference is the lack of status indicators. Road users will complain if the crossing activates while they are crossing, *not* when the train reaches the crossing. If the data includes TNG but doesn't include the signal, you'll get the complaint on striking into TNG. (If the signal *is* in the data, that complaint won't happen while the signal is red.)
