Was reading some info regarding a Major Resignalling project around Huddersfield on the 5th and 6th of August. Looking at the service amendments, it seems to show no trains at all in the Control areas of Huddersfield and Healey Mills Boxes. Are these being switched out for good and Transferring to York ROC or is this something else? Any Info appreciated

Worth taking look here https://www.signalbox.org/sectionc.php Stalybridge-Huddersfield Diggle Junction box to close, area to be controlled from LNE Regional Operations Centre at York. Huddersfield and Healey Mills boxes are due to close at the end of the year with the area being re-controlled to a new workstation in York ROC. There were six grade six signaller posts advertised on the internal list back in March. Some of that information is out of date. Rugby SCC hasn't moved to Rugby ROC as stated should have occurred in 2015. To my knowledge Warrington hasn't moved. Willesden Carriage Sheds haven't moved Log in to reply |
