As some of you will know in reality, The York South Signaler sits next to the Leeds East signaler in the IECC. Is it not possible to add on the facility to block either DOWN lines from Church Fenton? It would be very handy during times of failure. Thoughts? Thanks More of a player then a poster. TPD Last edited: 01/08/2017 at 10:15 by 6691donn Reason: None given Log in to reply |

It's already possible to do that- interpose the word 'BLOK' at signal 735 or 737 as appropriate, and trains will automatically enter on the other line. Having BLOK in both at the same time makes trains queue up outside the area until the code is removed from one or both berths.

To be pedantic in real life York South sits between York North and Leeds East Assist (which is a duplicated workstation closed between 14:00 sunday and 06:00 Monday). The assist workstation is there as Leeds East is not manageable by one signaller with all the changes at Leeds and Rose Lane Crossing users. The unofficial handover point between Leeds East and East Assist is Manston, but as for SimSig it is one workstation
