I've received this information from several sources overnight so passing it on for everyone to enjoy! This website is now available for you to watch the London Underground trains in virtual real time! It is still in test stage and their are a few glitches that should soon be updated. However, if you delve further on the page you will find this link which gives a similar facility for main line trains! Unfortunately it isn't 'national' all at once - it comes up with centralised main station information (initially Birmingham) so just select your regional mainline station from the dropdown box at the top! Once a route is selected, there is a 'link to this' box so you can just go back to that one page in future. Enjoy, Ken Log in to reply |

Hehe, been watching this on and off for the last couple of days, then checking with the working timetables to see how far off they are! It also seems to show LOROL services where they share the track with the Bakerloo/District. Log in to reply |

There is a quite similar one in Hungary, based on the On-Train Devices of the locomotives and MU's. However, you can see the passenger trains only.

Seems that the word had got out and the TfL site has now been halted (temporarily). http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2010/jul/02/tfl-tube-map-api-overwhelmed-demand Log in to reply |
