Have been having some trouble with the above EMU shunt move - it's been sat happily in the PC1 bay all afternoon waiting for it's timetabled shunt via Abbeyhill and through the station to Haymarket, but when I set the road for it at 16.45, it refuses to move! Doesn't matter whether I set the full road or the shunt subsidiary, it reports that it's waiting at the red exit signal (that isn't!!) in the F2 train list. Even telling it to pass the aforementioned signal at danger and proceed has no effect, causing much frustration and eventual removal.... Anyone else had problems with this?

Hi
Only problem I had was that it didn't report a late departure.
I forgot about it and it sat there without a driver calling.

In your case, does it face in the UP direction ?

GMac - were the points set correctly, you have to swing them manually before clearing the signal. Same applies to MR1/2 bays too.

From Manual: "MR and PC platforms, here the points separating the two sidings at each location are controlled manually on the ground by the train crew in the real world. In the sim you must manually set the points before setting the route from the ‘exit’ signal for the respective siding."

Also note there are no driver calls from PC and MR lines.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.

There was some bespoke phonecall code (otherwise would ring in from hidden signals) but it was not working properly so was withdrawn at the last moment- hopefully will be more robust in future. Have you set the point to the correct position per instructions?
