Have been talking to Professor Jolly who hasn't got internet at home at the moment due to an issue with the cable company. He would like the website developers to know that on a small screen like on a mobile messages get squashed into a small tall box that is only about 50 pixels wide so you can only see small words and any long words are truncated and not word wrapped, if you'd like to know more please PM me and I will pass on his e-mail so he can discuss the problem further. I presume you've checked out the various settings that your HTC Hero likely has and you have scrolled horizontally across the page (assuming it's available - which it should be). I would test the forum out myself (via a HTC) but this HTC runs Windows and not Android - which I am told the HTC Hero runs - so it wouldn't really be the same experience due to the differing Operating Systems. edited to add: You may want to consider if you can connect to the Internet on your computer via your phone, using it as a modem. I believe that most phones can still do this these days. Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for. Log in to reply |

On the unnamed browser of the Palm Pre the site is truncated, although the pages and features of the site work fine when entering the forum it appears to be cut off almost as though the forums was being loaded independantly of the main page. The words appear ok until about 6 characters in where they are suddenly cut off with no word wrap etc.
