I stumbled across a couple of problems involving ECS trains around te Edinburgh area. One is 5S61 which is programmed to enter Craigentinny from the east. In this session, I was not permitted to signal the train into the depot - even though a slot was given! Later (about 20:30ish), 5A41 was departed off Craigentinny for Plat 1 at Waverley. THe train was not due to depart Waverley til about 04:30. Shortly after arrival in Waverley, the TRTS is activated for 5A41 at the east end. Possible answers please? Ta Log in to reply |

From memory Craigentinny East slot is an exit slot so maybe if you clicked on it and thus authorised an exit it maybe prevents a route in being set. I can't honestly remember how it's coded but that sounds plausible. By 04:30 do you mean 28:30? because if it is 04:30 then that was 16 hours or so previous. Craigtenny #3 and #4 require a slot to set a route into them.

I am talking about accessing Craigentinny from the east - Millerhill direction. With regard to 5A41, it departed the depot at 20:30 - a whole 8 hours early! Log in to reply |

And was my Craigentinny suggestion correct? Re 5A41 which timetable are you using? The one that came with the Sim has 5A41 entering at 04:30 not 20:30 Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
