The signal on platform 5 (CQ66) at Glasgow Queen Street seems to be slightly temperamental. It appears it will only clear when signal CQ64 is also clear, but it is possible to get it into a state where it refuses to clear at all. With a train in platform 5, set a route from CQ66 -> CQ64 -> CQ250. CQ66 and CQ64 should clear to green and yellow respectively. Once the train passes CQ66 and enters track circuit T2199, cancel the route from CQ64, wait for the approach locking to time out, and re-set the route from CQ64 to CQ250, then get the train out of the way and cancel all the routes. Finally, set a route from CQ66->CQ64->CQ250 again. No matter what I try after doing this, CQ66 steadfastly remains red, even when CQ64 has cleared. I can't find anything about this on the known issues page, hopefully I'm not missing something obvious. Log in to reply |

Thanks for posting up about this...I now recall having the same problem in a multi a while back but it slipped my mind reporting it.

Thanks David, very descriptive. If only all bug reports had reproduction instructions... Fixed now. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
