HI all not sure if anyone has already spotted this but i've just noticed in the latest posts column a members I.P, address which really only should be available to Hosting area of the members only section. i was able to see this whilst not logged in... Could be a potential security issue as anyone can therefore view someones I.P address..

I'd raised this before, but Hosting posts are hidden when I log out, and reappear when I log back in. Also noted that searching that area is hidden when logged out. (Using XP & IE 7 for the record) Edit: Rechecked the search function, unable to search Hosting when logged out, but test IPs in Hosting Q&A were; maybe be prudent to edit out IPs at end of any session. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |
