I wonder if this could possibly be the first signal box to be fitted with a panic alarm connected directly to the local Police force (assuming such a thing doesn't exist already). The official procedure for this is covered in the SGI's, although how many attackers are just going to wait for a signaller to ring out the required bell code is the $64 question. On a serious note this is very disturbing and I wouldn't blame any signaller who just dropped the blinds and locked the door in the future. The youth who made threats has been described as white, of average build and 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in in height. He wore a light T-shirt and a grey baseball cap. Average build? Maybe. Below average intelligence? DEFINITELY! Log in to reply |
