Cutting down points losses 17/07/2011 at 08:53 #17877

Hi all, it may be a bit late in the day, but I've just sussed how to cut down on penalty points. I notice you collect penalties for setting routes over certain level crossings too early, notably at Trees and the ones at Cherry Hinton towards Dullingham. Paying more attention to these seems to be cutting penalty instances down. (Talk about slow on the uptake!). But that's part of the fun of Simsig - always things to watch out for and learn from. Cheers, Mal.

Actually, this applies to all controlled crossings on Cambridge except Foxton and Elsenham (which are gate boxes). The penalty time varies.

Other sims will depend on what the author has put in.
