When linking to a page on the wiki, I copied and pasted the url (in this case http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=73), I then wanted to add another link, copied, and pasted, it was exactly the same: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_jfusion&Itemid=73, is this intentional or have I found a bug?

I assume it's just the link ref to the WIKI home page, and doesn't pick up any browsing within the WIKI. I've simply got a bookmark set to http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php, which takes you directly to the home page, and shows the current URL of any page you subsequently visit. A side benefit is you get a wider visible page too. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. It's always done that and which causes problems trying to post a link. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

It's because the link is to the frame that contains the wiki, rather than the page in the wiki. You can (on most browsers) right-click a link on a wiki page and "open in new window/tab". That takes the SimSig website frame away.
