412 posts 		Afro, me old china, if I can get the time away from FGW, I could do the whole weekend. OK, perhaps Thursday to Monday (for the beer of course!). Perhaps Derby, but Sheffy is fine with me (for the Sheffield Tap) I will let you know ASAP

Nothing personal: we're reviewing this anyway. Ultimately none of us organisers want the responsibility of a minor but if we can safely pass that elsewhere then so much the better. It is sad in today's society that we have to go to such lengths but that's the world we live in unfortunately.

It's not as simple as getting a responsible adult to look after the minor though obviously that is a large part of the solution.

To all those under 16 and would seriously like to attend please let me know via PM and we'll see what we can do.

258 posts 		Last Train back from Sheffield looks like its 23:30 takes abut 30 minutes.
I suspect we shall have to arrange some form of solid refreshment to go with the liquid one as Sheffield Tap is a drinking zone. :woohoo:

4871 posts 		Sheffield tap is on the north end of platform 1 at Sheff, means I can sit there with my note book and redpen ticking off numbers while I pretend to route said trains.

I notice that they have a GWR nameplate over the bar...at least them Northern '......' recognise a superior piece of traction.....meeooowww ........ but a 150 beers now that means on an hourly basis (3/4 pints per hour)....ohhh I've given up trying to calculate the input/output :sick: but seems a good place to meet. 'appen you can't get a pint of Wards these days like one used to do in the pub outside Victoria Station. Ahhhhh happy days
