2D88 (the first one at 00:22, not the later one at 24:22) goes to platform 6 and runs out of valid track. Any suggestions?
It doesn't step up the description to the next train; if you tell it to shunt back, it will do so, but then it wants to depart immediately, still as the incoming train, 2D88.

Some others do this later, e.g. an ECS to Hornsey reversing siding after the norning peak.

When 2D88S arrives at KX you will need to manually reassign it to it's next working.

In the F2 menu right click on 2D88S then Timetable Options > Run to another timetable and from the drop down menu select 2P431 and click Run to TT.

Now in the F2 menu right click on 2P431 then Timetable Options > Edit Timetable > Location List click on Kings Cross and click Set current/next location.

I think this happens because 2D88S has a stop at Hornsey when it clearly cannot do this as it comes out of Hornsey Depot and the timetable therefore does not step up.

The TT is still looking for the train to stop at Hornsey and has got itself confused. In fact if you watch the train on its travels, it runs straight through Finsbury Park despite the scheduled stop as the TT is still looking for Hornsey.

Apart from John's suggestion, you can also get things to happen properly by opening the TT for 2D88 in f2 and manually stepping the TT to the correct location (click on the line of the current or next timing point the train is at or will reach to highlight it then click on the current/next location button). If the train is already in KX, set the current/next location as KX and it will pick up the TT for 2P431 all by itself.

For a permanent cure you need to edit the TT for 2D88s through f4 and delete the line for Hornsey then save the TT.

It is a known bug in the TT (see posting #4 in this thread) and will be fixed in the next release according to Chrisrail, the TT writer.
