After reading the Forum, I do not seem to be the only one experiencing difficulties in getting trains/diesels to join at Gloucester and then move forward at their designated times. I fail miserably in banking trains up the Lickey. Is this down to the frailties of the programme or is it ME? I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time persuading trains/diesels to move and in the meantime the rest of the area is going to pot. Oh for the days of the bucket on the signal arm.

With regards to the joining issue, bankers, etc, take a look at this post.

With regards to the getting trains up the Lickey Incline...

The Wiki said:
Signals 71, 171 and 467

When the TC is occupied, these signals have a 3 minute timer before the signals come off. This is to allow time for any train ahead to clear the Lickey bank and give the train stood at these signals an opportunity for a clear run up. There is no timer for the shunt ahead routes, however these should only be used for trains shunting and not for those climbing the bank.

Taken from the Gloucester manual.

I only learnt that recently whilst testing a Gloucester TT and I thought it was a bug at first! Just thought I'd mention it in-case this is part of the problem you've been having.
