TeamSpeak 3 For SimSig Introduction We use TeamSpeak 3 for in-game chatting, and this is available to the wider SimSig community, with thanks to Alan Gilchrist. Anyone is welcome to use it, whether hosting a game, chatting about timetables, or even just chat about life in general. The server is available for use 24 hours a day. How to Join Go to HERE and download the client applicable to your system. Install the client and then load it up. Click connections then fill in the boxes as follows. Address: ts.SimSig-uk.net Port: 9987 Nickname: [Either your forum name, or your real name] Server Password: [Leave this blank, the server does not require a password] Then click connect. You'll be put into "The Lobby" channel. From here you can access the other channels available. Clients are also available for Android and iOS. The Channels There are a number of channels which can be used. A description of each is available in the channel description. The Star System Each channel has a coloured star next to its name. The stars each have a meaning which is outlined below. They basically relate to who can do what in each channel Green Anyone can talk in these channels, they can be used by people who are not "registered" on the server. So you may occasionally find people who are not Simsig users in these channels. Red To be able to talk in these channels you must be a "registered user" on the server. To become a registered user you need to be registered by one of the admins. They will simply make you a "registered user", you don't need to do anything else. Once you are a "registered user" you can talk in any of the red channels.
