All Sims are undergoing a refresh build and will be uploaded in the next week or so if all goes to plan. The old one is still available if you follow the instructions on the home page.

Refresh is to recompile using the most uptodate core code but because some of the existing data is obsolete it's not necessarily a quick a task.

Changing layout/speeds etc is more of a rebuild.

Probably not, as this would replicate the layout on the Colwich - Tamworth area as it is today, which would be treading on the toes of Tresim who do the official simulators of the said area for Network Rail.

Any update would most likely be the layout as seen on Stafford but with updated core code.

Which is what some of us would like to see if there's ever to be 'historic' sims for the rest of the southern WCML (closing the gap with Euston).

They would have to be historic with historic timetables too. There is absolutely no way the current timetables would run on the original layouts due to it being 125mph now for the majority of the WCML.

So what is there [currently] that we can do?

Wembley (ML), Watford and Bletchley?
Then Rugby which we can't
Then Crewe up to Carlisle?

So is it the bit between Bletchley and Crewe? or are there other boxes between Bletchley and Crewe that can be done?

What is there on the line to New St?

Suppose you could do all of the old layouts, those being

Euston PSB, Willesden PSB, Watford Junction PSB, Bletchley PSB, Rugby PSB, Nuneaton PSB (which would then link onto Stafford SimSig)

And from Rugby towards the West Midlands, originally was Rugby PSB, Coventry PSB and then New Street PSB (and if you want to carry on Walsall PSB (via Grand Lines), Wolverhampton PSB which links to Stafford again.

Geoff may be able to clarify what can and can't be done.
