on the trans pennine express website there is a notice which is the following:

``We are disappointed that our driver colleagues represented by ASLEF have voted in favour of industrial action. They have informed us that they intend to strike from 00:01 to 23:59 on Wed 24 August and 00:01 to 23:59 on Fri 26 August.''

The RMT are also going on strike on the same days, so there will be very few, if any, TP services running on those days although I believe there are further talks taking place next Monday

If the industrial action does go ahead, First TransPennine Express intend to run the following services on both days:

A two-hourly train service during between Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly
An hourly service between Leeds or York and Manchester Piccadilly
Four trains in each direction between Manchester Airport and Edinburgh
Additional train services each evening between Edinburgh / Glasgow Central and Carlisle for alternative connections
