Got trouble with trains entering from South Croydon. Had 5P13 enter at South Croydon and when it got to Saunderstead it became 2P13 as booked. I was able to interpose the new TD into Signal T541 (although theoretically shouldn't as it's on another panel). The driver however phoned up and asked permission to proceed, which I though unnecessary as it was on another signallers panel and the train was continuing in the same direction anyway, but under a different headcode. I granted permission but the train then reversed to the "UP" direction, coming head to head with 2L04 which now appears to be in the same block section. The TD "2P13" was replaced by "2L04". I can get out of the situation by reversing 2P13 back to "DOWN" manually, but this doesn't seem right, and the two trains in the same section is a wrong side failure. It also continues with the TD "2L04" which cannot be corrected until the train gets to the first Signal 1 at Upper Wallingham, and the second train, the real 2L04 continues without a headcode until it can be interposed at Signal 1. 2P13 is of course destined for South Croydon, but cannot get there without going to Oxted to reverse. After further thought, this appears to be a timetable bug rather than a Sim bug. The train 5P13/2P13 should not be booked to reverse at Saunderstead. Log in to reply |

This train should not have been part of the timetable, see the previous topic on the timetable being wrong, I have submitted a different timetable from my tt writer which will remove this train from the timetable. Paul You have to get a red before you can get any other colour Log in to reply |

Actually, I don't think it was removed from latest version of TT, so will need removing manually... Sorry

Stephen. Regarding the ability to interpose at what would be Three Bridges controlled berths, this has been changed now and placed on our bug board to enable to ask my testers to make sure that you can now no longer interpose at Txxx signals. This train seems to be back in the latest version of the 15th Oct 2009 timetables (V4.0 build 2). I had to manually remove it to allow trains to continue entering from South Croydon. Log in to reply |
