problem is, theres been no repercussions for this incident despite all the delay minutes and blatant trespassing, people will keep getting away with it

You would think it would have been an open-and-shut case for the CPS too.

I'm slightly puzzled where she thought she was going - surely she didn't think she could walk all the way from Bristol to Cheltenham?

My understanding is that trespass is a Civil Offence, nothing to do with CPS. If the person damaged something or endangered a train while trespassing, that would be criminal. For example if she was in the 4 foot and the train made an emergency brake app. and someone was injured.

Normally trespass is only a civil offence, but trespass on the railway is governed by law. There is a summary of the situation on the CPS web-site.

If i had to stop a trains and all that bla bla bla each time someone was strawling around the track around here trains wouldn't run in this country :-P (PT)... Even fences don't stop them!
