Firstly welcome to the world of SimSig! Royston is the best place to start as it's a simple 2 track railway. Have a look at this thread as this has already been discussed in some detail.. http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_agora&task=topic&id=114&Itemid=54 Noisynoel Log in to reply |

We even have a tutorial on Royston! May not be fully completed but it's there. Peter Hmm- how do you 'hide' the URL string behind a link word? Ah-ha thanks I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Once you get the hang of it I recommand SwinDid. It has fully working ARS, although there will be some problems ahead near Didcot Parkway. It is a great sim and I learned it on Swindon. And don't be scared by Kings Cross, It's one of the best for a network/internet game. Most people welcome persons new to SimSig. Log in to reply |

Stafford is what I started with. More complex than Royston but not a massive area to learn
