Had a look and since the refresh this has not been reported.

I am getting odd error messages when running the sim, it does happen in other sims. The error reads "Runtime error 216 at 4000572A"
When it happens clock keeps going, some trains move but others dont move and just sit still.

It seems to happen when I am bringing up a timetable most times, not sure whether somebody else is doing the same but thats when it mostly occurs, when I just host and dont play its not an issue as much but when I play I need to see the TT and I use the pop up TT

ARS was on but disabled.
Machine is 64bit / Windows 7 / 16Gb Mem
It does look to be a memory issue, going back to the lovely Windows95 days it looks like a GPF message when accessing memory.
Tried this on two different machines same results, so its not the machine but both are similar os/64bit and different memory.

I seem to remember something like this happening before, either on a previous version of SwinDid or the Swindon original. A quick fix is to open up the TT editor for each of the affected trains through F2, and use the 'set next/current location' button to confirm where the train is/going.
As to what causes the problem, I'm not a developer so I don't know.

It does sound familliarish as an ARS problem that was fixed some time ago. I suspect it'll need Geoff to explore the innards of the thing. However, if no-one else has found the problem that may make it harder to track down.

OK no problem, there are alot of error messages when it happens so I shall capture more.
I found it easier to save and restart (as opposed to using F2 for the 29 trains), but today that never worked it required a program close and open.

Its not too big a deal, we had 3 sets of possessions on as well so this could have also added to the issue.

i shall post more if it occurs again.

I remember now, it was a bug that was "introduced" with Swindon A&B, can't remember it ever happening with the original Swindon.

I remember now, it was a bug that was "introduced" with Swindon A&B, can't remember it ever happening with the original Swindon.
That may well have been why it was withdrawn.

When you get an error like this one, the error reports on their own aren't sufficient to debug it. At the very least we need exact instructions on how to reproduce it. Best would be a saved game from just *before* it happens, with instructions on how to make it happen.

I've had the same error as Alan in Swindid. Same specs as his bar the fact I've only got 8GB of memory.

Seems to happen when people connect, the master Timetable is opened or you send / receive a chain request.

Have had a very similar if not the same issue on Westbury lately. Some kind of error message will pop-up, the clock will carry on but very few trains will appear to move. My current workaround is to pause there, take a save and try to reload the save but going File -> New simulation doesn't even work and have to completely close the sim, re-open it again and load the save...at which point I think I notice some trains seem to have moved anyway...it's as if the display window freezes but trains still move.

Old Swindon indeed did not have this, and the error message from the previous release of SwinDid was quite different. I think this is another error introduced in the 2.22x core code.

Has any one found anything out about this yet? Reading the postings gives the impression that it's a frequent occurrence but there seems few reports and little to go on so far.
