Playing Exeter with St David's platform 6 under a T3 at the moment. Plenty of terminating trains in this sim got me to thinking: for every train approaching or at its terminus I click on its TD to see what it does when it gets there. Up pops the Show Timetable box with the info I am looking for and an OK button. I click OK, and right click the TD (or key I) to interpose the next working. I was thinking this could be speeded up a little and made a little more friendly, if when approaching or at its terminus the Show Timetable box then also included a second button at the bottom labelled Interpose Next Working which did just that! It would save a bit of clickery and keyboard thumping and be very useful when playing solo, IMHO. Signalman Exeter West & Llangollen Log in to reply |

In certain sims you can turn on ACI (Automatic Code Insertion) in the F3 options window, or in some sims it is a purple or blue button on-screen which can be turned on/off (sometimes per area). Exeter sim has neither, but, for example, Peterborough or North London Line has.
