Just finished the supplied TT running the 'delays at Crewe' scenario. Interesting and at times chaotic. Plenty of practice at regulating. Now going to re-live my days working at New Street with the 'West Midlands delays' scenario. At the risk of over-use of a cliche, brilliant sim!

shame this idea hasnt been carried over to other sims, ie specific delays at one entry point rather than just general delays

The recent GW set re-issue has such delays (and early running) [albeit with a small bug]- can't recall the full extent I coded them though. However, that's a generic thing to the sim rather than a bespoke scenario. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Bristol has Delays In West Country and Delays In South Wales as scenarios (and has had since before the recent refresh, IIRC).

Hi all, hope I haven't mentioned this too far down the line (groan!), but I've noticed that on some trains even though ample route is set and trains are running under greens, suddenly they will start losing a few minutes even if they entered the area on time/early. Just something I've noticed across a couple of sims and would be interested in comments. ![]() Last edited: 26/09/2011 at 07:10 by delticfan Log in to reply |

Gradients may have an effect too. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Oops, good points both. Especially about gradients, but as for TSRs I hadn't selected any or presumably they would show up on the affected areas. Food for thought though, cheers guys. ![]() Log in to reply |

TSRs agre generally part of a scenario setup and you will be tods where they are. PSRs will be hard coded in and you will be unlikely to know about them. There's one on Westbury someone spotted a while back. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply The following user said thank you: delticfan |

Here's an interesting delay scenario. Earlier today I understand that there was a fatality between Coventry and Rugby. This resulted in all of the Euston to Birmingham/Wolverhampton "Pendolinos" being diverted via Stafford. The additional movements on top of the reular sevices made for some interesting watching at Stafford
