Hi all I got a long shot question but you never know till you ask if anything is going to come from it. Has anyone out there got or know where I can get hold of a Intercity timetable for the WCML at Carlisle. The reason for me asking this unusual request is I am editing the SNC route in Trainz to modern standards but unfortunaly I cannot release it and I am doing a session based around the same time period which is 1990. If anyone out there could help me in this one I would be so grateful, Joe

Your best bet may be eBay - perhaps someone may be selling one. Small chance of finding one in a rail auction.

Hi Joe, you could try this site as I've dealt with him a couple of times. He does a range of books and timetables and I got good service.

The RCTS also have a WTT library (details here). You may recognise the curator of the modern collection.

But don't forget you need to be a member of the RCTS to be able to get them from that source. Only a small membership fee though and access to a wealth of information not just WTT's. Well worth the outlay.

Thank you to all who have responded in this thread, I managed to pick up a 1992 Passenger Timetable which has proved most helpful. Now I am wondering if anyone has access to a freight timetable of a similar period please, something similar to Freightmaster would be good

I've got a 'GA' working timetable (passenger and freight combined) for May92-May93 which covers the WCML/G+SW north of Carlisle. It has times to/from Preston for the relevant trains, but would not list a Carlisle - Euston for example, nor table 48 / 36 / 100 services
About 60 pages of scanning for me to do if you are interested.

regards
Bill

I have the Wtts for the for Gretna Junction and all points south to Crewe c. 1981. Any trains coming from Annan have an 'A' next to the timing at Gretna Junction. I then allow around 10 minutes to go to either Annan or Lockerbie. British Railway Books is a good place to go for them.

Bill Thanks for that but that wouldn't be very useful as its the london bound services and south bound services of freight I require
