If it's a full tube challenge then either start at Amersham or Epping.

What are you seeking to do? If you're looking to visit all tube stations in one day then bear in mind if you're doing it on a weekday then a Day Anytime travelcard (or the Peak Price Cap on Oyster) is £18.60 - same price for both, but if you're doing it on a weekend (basically Saturday) then it is £11.00 on both Oyster or with a paper ticket. If you add that to the price of any supplies you may need (food, drink, etc) and further add price of any train tickets to/from London then...well....you may be looking at a high price. Or are you seeking to do a tube race from say one station with plenty of travel choices to another station with plenty of travel choices?
