Does anyone know the area of control of and the level of 'busyness' of the 'box located at (and of-course covering the area of) Lostwithiel station?

Thanks in advance for response(s)

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

Presumably it controls little beyond the immediate area - method of signalling appears (from photos online of the adjacent boxes) to be TCB to Liskeard and AB to Par. There appears to be an IB signal on the Up between Par and Lostwithiel (worked by Par); not sure if there's an equivalent on the Down (which would be worked by Lostwithiel). Not sure whether there's any intermediate signalling between Liskeard and Lostwithiel, but there's obviously the connection at Bodmin (ground frame released by Lostwithiel?). Finally, there's the token section to Fowey - with shut-in facilities at the latter?

Hopefully someone can fill the gaps in my knowledge for me!

Tom

The fringes with Lostwithiel are Liskeard and Par. I believe the nearest signal to Lostwithiel from Par is signal P2 - a long way away from Par :D
Please correct if wrong.

P100 signal (worked off a switch on the block shelf) is the IB signal located on the Up between Par and Lostwithiel, and rather closer than signal P2!

Hi, sorry for the late reply here. There are IBS signals at Treverrin on both lines although of course only the down is controlled by Lostwithiel. Control of the station area at Lostwithiel is by lever frame and the largin single line is controlled by an NX panel. Hope this is helpful.
