Well, a bit careless for me, but I just accidentally clicked on the "Delete" button just next to the "Edit" button, then it's gone! I really think that the forum should ask me if I am really going to delete my replies when I click on the "Delete" button. Log in to reply |

Suspect you'll want to or in-fact need to direct this at Kunena, the people who made this forum (plug-in(?)) for Joomla sites. That said though, in all my experiences of forums at various levels (member, moderator, admin, etc.) I can't recall off the top of my head ever seeing a "Are you sure you want to delete?" warning. If I accidentally delete something I would use the back button and hopefully recover it from there.

In fact deleted posts are still visible to moderators, to un-delete/permanently delete....but that depends on one being on-line of course. I did see the 'deleted' post earlier, and permanently deleted it as it appeared to be a duplicate post of your second one. I would have left it if it wasn't for the repeat post displayed. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply |

Of the few forums I frequent (where regular users can delete their own posts) they do have such a message. I'm a bit surprised there wouldn't be one on this forum as well. But in saying that, the forums do have different sources. By the way, thanks for the warning Alvin. Nil. Last edited: 08/01/2012 at 00:49 by Aurora Log in to reply |

The back button won't work, as the code will have run and removed the post from the database. Log in to reply |
