Hi I have downloaded and am running the above timetable however, I am problems with trains coming out of Northam depot. They head to the run round line as timetabled but then they do nothing. You can set the route up for them to carry on their timetable but they refuse to move regardless how long you leave it!! Does anyone know what is happening or has experienced the same? many thanks francis Log in to reply |

Have downloaded this timetable and looked through it yet there are no trains due in from Northam Depot? :: Are you confusing it with another entry point? Edited to add; I assume you mean Southampton Down Yard? Carrying on with testing based on that. Tested with 5B86-1 (enters at 03:30 so timetable started at 03:25) and didn't have any real problems apart from the train generally running late for some unknown reason. Arrived Down Yard Run-Round Line 1 min late, departed 7mins late. Arrived Down Yard Reception 5 mins late, departed 6 mins late. Arrived Eastern Docks 6 mins late. 5T12-1 Arrived Run-Round Line on time, departed 4 mins late. Arrived Down Yard Reception 3 late, departed 2 mins late. Arrived Eastern Docks 3 late. 2B96 Needs a timetable. 3B90 Arrived Down Yard Run-Round Line on time, departed 5 mins late. Arrived Down Yard Reception 4 mins late, departed 4 mins late. Arrived Eastern Docks 5 mins late 5B90-1 Arrived Down Yard Run-Round Line 1 min late, departed 7 mins late. Arrived Down Yard Reception 6 mins late, departed 7 mins late. Arrived Eastern Docks 7 mns late 3B94-1 Arrived Down Yard Run-Round Line on time, departed 5 mins late Arrived Down Yard Reception 4 mins late, departed 5 mins late. Arrived Eastern Docks 5 mins late. 3B92-1 Arrived Down Yard Run-Round Line on time, timetable stepped up here to get it moving. Arrived Down Yard Reception on on time, departed 1 min mate. Arrived Eastern Docks 2 mins late. Test stopped there. With only 9 trains in the timetable that do this move, I'd wonder if manually editing the times to slightly later may be useful. Alternatively perhaps just totally removing the trains from the timetable is an option to consider. thanks for your help yes I did mean the down yard where it says Northam. I have had no problems getting the train out and to the run round loop but as i said it just stops there. Ill play again and see what happens!

This is interesting. As the writter of this tt I can say that all the times I have run it there has been no problem, I will add that the running of these services to the Eastern Docks is a sim work around as when the sim was written there didn't seem to be a way to go from the Down Yard to the up line towards St Denys. Whilst just catching up with the latest posts in this thread I have realised that the timetable may need to be cleansed. I'm not entirely sure how to do this myself so could I please request for someone do this and perhaps eMail it to me, spam2@uktrainman.tk (this is deliberately used as an anti-spam measure), for testing.
