Hi, In games, aare the incidents (ie. TCFs, PFs, etc.) generated at random or can the person hosting the game generate a few as well? If so, how? Just wondering how to make the game I host just a bit more interesting..... Thanks. Dave Log in to reply |

Dave in newer sims which run on a newer version of the core code there is an "incident control panel" this allows the host to set up PFs, Signal failures, TCFs, engineering blocks, traction isolations, And speed restrictions. The sims that have this are : Westbury Exeter Swindid Edinburgh South Humberside Worksop Saltley (meet version) Derby (meet version) And possibly some others I have missed. Can be generated at random or the host can add them in themselves via F11. However, note that I believe if the host creates say, a Track Circuit Failure, via F11 then whoever is operating the workstation that you generate the failure on doesn't get a failure message and has to (or at least should be....) be advised manually. If you want to avoid this then you could always add some random TSRs in places, like I may have done once on Edinburgh with the TCs by the tripwire... Hope this helps.
