Hi All, I'm afraid I may have found another problem that hasn't been mentioned before. I had a track circuit failure in the Bishopbriggs area and so decided to route 1R36 (from Queen Street) via Springburn instead of via Lenzie. The manual says this should be fine - the train should stop at Falkirk Grahamston instead of Falkirk High, and that the timetable should step up accordingly. It appears to step up OK upon reaching Sighthill West Junction (removing Lenzie, Croy, and a few others from the timetable, leaving Falkirk High as the next timing point), but upon reaching signal CN436 at Gartcosh Junction, the driver phones in to complain that I have routed it on the wrong path, asking if I wish to bypass Falkirk High. Am I right in saying this shouldn't happen or have I done something wrong? Cheers, Mark. Log in to reply |

Known problem which has been reported. Should be resolved when CScot is next refreshed.

The TT stepping is hand coded for eventualities I conceived as possible, but that's not to say every step has been accounted for- you can manually step the timetable via f2 anyway. The wrong route thing is also coded on a signal route by signal route basis and I hate it - I'm tending to avoid adding it these days because sure as eggs is eggs something will go wrong in some unforeseen circumstance. Coolio, thanks for your replies guys. At the moment, I just abandon the timetable when the train passes Springburn and re-enable it when the train crosses Greenfoot crossing. Sometimes I forget and get the points (and time) hit when the train in question stops at Gartcosh. Have a sticky now to remind me! Happy New Year to you both (and everyone else reading this) too! Log in to reply |
