Hi all, I downloaded and started playing Euston using the default Summer 2003 timetable starting at 03:00 and quickly found that some of the trains arriving at Euston did so with no timetabled platform numbers. Some of the ones I found are: 5M90-1 which becomes 5L31-1 5M92-1 which becomes 5L33-1 5M82-1 which becomes 5L30-1 5B01-2 which becomes 5B00-2 I am sure there are more but have not played the game that far yet. I imagine this is a bug in the simulator but could a dev confirm it? Could not find any reference to this in the forum already so created a new topic. Log in to reply |

It's not a bug with the sim, the timetable creator has simply not given the train a specific platform to use. Just use your own judgment in where to put them.

Ok, not a problem. Will continue as I have been and start filling up from platform 1.

You might also want to check the simplifier (accessed via F8) to make sure the platform isn't going to be used by any other train.

Make sure you double check traction type too, because of the DC lines.

This problem only seems to occur at the start of the timetable but also in the last 2 hours , [ I think there approx 4 trains, all diesel at the end of the tt]. I simply used platforms 16,17,18 , [ if you are using the 2003 tt and the 1990 layout]. Hope this helps. Log in to reply |

It's not a "problem". The real timetable doesn't allocate platforms to these moves, so I didn't do so either.
