HI
One small problem if found is with 4K57. At Thoresby Collery Jn , I've routed to train into Arr/Dep 1. The loco detaches (0K57) and duly runs round via the run round loop and TC8 but fails to join.
F2 screen just comes up with 0K57 ...train in front 4K57
4K57....waiting for joing train 0K57. I've tried shunting back and forth but to no avail.

has 0K57 TT stepped up OK? Edit its TT to make its current/next location the last(join) line can start the join.

I had the same happen. Checked the timetable, and the join was the current order. Tried the usual tricks of reversing each part, abandoning and re-setting timetable, etc., still no joy. I too ended up deleting both parts.

As Midlandbill and Meek have said, tried all the usual tricks but ended up having to remove the train. Also found a couple of trains which run round at Worksop for Cottam.Run round and join OK but overhang the road.Reversing the train fixes this but this may be due to the train lengths.

Indeed also had the problem with 4K57. Among all things mentioned I also used the ground frame to clear the signal 'ahead' of the train (Signal TCAD1) in-case that was what was meant to be done. The reasoning for doing this was because I recall having read some of the information on the Wiki regarding Brighton and it mentioning about setting some signal somewhere so the train can 'push back' or something like that but it didn't help.

Perhaps a workaround for 4K57 would be to step up 0K57's timetable to the join activity whilst it is in the headshunt then send it back into whichever Arr/Dep line you have 4K57 in then, as long as it joins successfully, reverse the train to face the right way (if needed) then signal it into the Colliery as normal. I am confident that'll work so I'm going to go and test it now to see. I'll update this post with the results.

UPDATE;

Didn't work and I worked out why too. The points from the headshunt are effectively locked to the run-round line/road. Perhaps still do-able if you step up 0K57's timetable and reverse it straight after it has detached though. Will now test this too.

I've run through the movement and have identified the problem:
When 0K57 rejoins, there is not sufficient space for it to fit completely within the reception line TC, and thus it hasn't actually arrived at the join location.
I tried making 4K57 stopping location far end to no avail, but if 4K57's length after the detach is reduced from 427m to say 400m, the LE moves up of its own accord and joins without further intervention.
Probably worth editing down 4K57 in F4 prior to its entry to avoid the points penalty.

EDIT:better fix is to make 4K57 stop as 'Far end exact 0m' (FX shows in location stopping position) and all works correctly.
The reason why this works over far end stop is that far end exact forces the train to pull tight up to the signal, rather than stopping a notional distance before the signal so the driver can view the aspect (18m?). This let the train fit in the TC with space at either end for the detaching & attaching loco.

I have a successful workaround for the problem that doesn't involve editing 4K57 to reduce it's length.

Once you get the message that 4K57 has finished joining, edit 0K57 via F2 Train List and step it up to the final location in it's timetable (the location with the join activity) and then reverse 0K57 so it is facing down then leave the trains to do their magic. Ignore the weird things that happen on F2 Train List (or watch and snigger at it as it happens) and 0K57 will reattach to it's train and then the whole train (4K57) will automatically face Down and will eventually call in at the signal and can then be sent into the Colliery or held there to time if you so wish.

Hope this helps.

Works for me - just checked rest of 4Kxxs and you also need to make the same 'Far end exact 0m' edit to 4K55 and 4K56

I will ammend the timetable for the next release (Not quite sure with all the testing, why this hasn't been picked up before or even at the weekend)

Testing for meet was for 0500-1000 span, 4K57 before that, other 2 after.

Same here. It appears 4K57 is too long for the road. Maybe if it were shortened........

Coolah - no need to shorten the trains - see post 7 in this thread

Andy G has already solved this one
