Bet there weren't too many smiley faces on the motorists or passengers faces then. Unlike the front of the unit (Looks like a 365) ![]() Log in to reply |

Probably too much effort on the paper's behalf to point out that road vehicles are more likely to "fail" at level crossings (apparently).

Only 365s are diagrammed to the King's Lynn route; most are extensions of the Cambridge Cruiser service which is always a 365. Indeed it's really just the Foxtons and the poor-relation of the Peterbourgh line that gets the clapped out stock . Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Peter Bennet said:Only 365s are diagrammed to the King's Lynn route Yep, I lived there for three years and always got 365s except for one trip on something 317-shaped (it may not actually have been a 317, I can't really remember) which was a bit of a surprise for all concerned. Tennyson Avenue is a nasty place to get stuck though - there's no way round unless you go through the town centre or right out to the bypass, so we're talking a couple of miles extra and lots of traffic.
