Use staging.openrail.transporthacker.com/ . It includes all passenger and ECS (including WTT, STP and VSTP workings) as well as live TRUST and signalling berth data. Much more useful than Tom's site - which only has the WTT data.

That's not strictly speaking true I do have STP data, just not VSTP. VSTP data requires a link with TRUST (which I don't yet have).

Oh right - I thought you just had WTT data. My apologies. The point I was trying to make was that Peter had the link with TD.net.

I don't believe the TD.net link is live on his site at the moment due to load handing with the new site. Both staging and opentraintimes now are on the same system - so we just show the same data at the moment.

Ah, I didn't realise it wasn't live yet.

Either way, this is entirely academic. What's good is that both show the detailed CIF information that wouldn't otherwise be available to us without the considerable hard work of yourself and Peter.

It is a shame you cannot get passing times.

For example, Fenny Compton can be selected and the system recognises it as a location, but it does not show anything passing.

It's a known bug.
Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

Hessle is a station name, so it assumes that you will want the station. Type in HESSR49 and you get that TIPLOC.

Another query - is there any way to get real time information on there.

For instance, train 1E44 is running late, but the only way I found that out was by looking on National Rail Enquiries.

No, not yet. I suppose it's on the to-do list.

Live running information is only available for Virgin or LM at the moment. I believe the dev will be implementing live running for all trains soon.
