Following on from Laryk's excellent version of Euston in Open TTD, myself, insulfrog (JAB) and Backup (BACK) have started a TTD version of the Birmingham area. The first screenshot has been posted with Proof House Jn and Grand Jn completed as well as the line to Birmingham International. Also, the Cross City line has been done as far as Chester Road. Credit goes to insulfrog who has been brave enough to tackle New Street Station and also to Backup for doing the area featured in Saltley Centre Panel (Landor Street, St Andrews and Bordersley Jns) Watch this space for further updates. Edit: Will find an alternative source for screenshot, website not letting me upload. "Signalman Exeter" Last edited: 21/01/2012 at 21:01 by Sam Tugwell Log in to reply |

Very nice! Any plans on having working trains running? Would love to see the entire of the x city line working. I can see this developing into some kind of challenge. Think I'll do Bristol next Log in to reply |

We are indeed going to "attempt" to put some trains on it, but due to a lack of a Class 323 GRF set, we will have to substitute Class 321s in. LaryK said: I can see this developing into some kind of challenge.hmmmmmm............ "Signalman Exeter" Log in to reply |

Progress has been made, we have spearheaded the Cross City Line South and have complete it. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

Excellent work. Next time I'm on my PC (hopefully tomorrow) I'll take some screens of my attempt. Hopefully you'll manage to solve some of the issues I had re: trains :S

The latest screenshots of a 97% complete Brimingham Open TTD map. New Street Station (all credit to insulfrog for a wonderful effort) Bordersley Jn and St Andrews Jn (done by me, insulfrog and Backup together) Bescot Yard (once again all credit to insulfrog for producing a brilliant representation of Bescot) "Signalman Exeter" Last edited: 22/01/2012 at 22:44 by Sam Tugwell Log in to reply |

Gotta reiterate my thoughts from what I saw myself when I got on and had a look - I'm loving the work you've all been doing on this so far! I was thinking of going through it all with a document I've got to check it over thoroughly but I've been so impressed by it all that I don't think I need to. Well done to all involved.

How far out of New St do you go on the Stours? I'd be happy to get involved if I could be of any assistance...

To come to a clear understanding, the Stours go from Wolverhampton-Rugby via BHM? If so, then we have included the entire section from Rugby through to Wolverhampton North Junction. "Signalman Exeter" Log in to reply |

Yes Sam - Stour Valley diversion of WCML, also carries on to Stafford through Penkridge. That's impressive - well done! I'd love to see it in full.
