just a thought as i whizzed up to edinburgh yesterday, either or both of these boxes. they would make good training/ introduction sims, featuring a basic layout thats easy to comprehend, a set of level crossings, and several different freight and passenger services. any thoughts edit: possibly morpeth might be another one? Tweedmouth is half done as the fringe to Edinburgh (future proofing) but I did that as part of a possible "Newcastle" Sim - discussed elsewhere very recently. I have no current plans to take it forward in any form at this time. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Here is the aforementioned thread. It is not currently being done. http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=12&id=27538&Itemid=145 When a sim is made sometimes a dummy sim containing basic chain data (basically nothing but a few screen objects, timetable paths etc ) - not really playable - might be made to make sure that if the second sim where done then it will chain to the first sim with little or no upheaval. That doesn't mean the second sim will ever get done. Last edited: 22/01/2012 at 20:01 by TomOF Log in to reply |

" said:" said:Class 92 - there is a sticky at the top of this board titled "Conflict of Interest - please read before posting in this topic". That topic includes a link to a Wiki page which lists various areas that cannot currently be done because of the agreement between Geoff as the owner of the intellectual property rights vested in SimSig and Geoff's employers, TRESIM. Never is never a good word to use as far as SimSig is concerned, but a Tyneside IECC sim looks unlikely at the moment.Tweedmouth is half done as the fringe to Edinburgh (future proofing) but I did that as part of a possible "Newcastle" Sim - discussed elsewhere very recently.
