The recently released sims are no longer working on my machine, when opening Euston, Oxted etc, all the fonts are appearing as letters and not SimSig fonts. This has only recently happened as I was playing Euston on Tuesday and the only change to my machine has been the update of the AMD graphic drivers. I have checked my font directory and have the fonts, but I have re-installed the system files twice the second time removing all the fonts and it re-installed. When I tried notepad, using the SimSig fonts it showed just normal letters, until I changed the Script option from Western to Other then it displayed correctly. Something has changed, but I dont know what it is and I can't find anything which will set it back to use SimSig fonts for these games. I have checked the "change font size" setting as suggested on the forums but I only have 100% set. Other games such as CScot/Edinburgh/KX etc the older games are all working fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I tried what has been suggested before on the forums and have run out of ideas. There not the old system files you were trying to install were they?

Definitely latest version as it loaded the new fonts and was a new download from the site just in case.

Yes back to prior graphics driver already no difference.

Have found the problem. Citrix Xen App installed a font substitute in the registry for Simsigv2 stating it should use Tahoma Such an annoying and niggly issue. All fixed now.
