hi all.
i recall at least one sim where AHBs fail and trains have to be authorised over at caution. i havent seen this with the newer sims eg shumbs and worksop. does anyone know which sims produce level crossing failures and if the new ones are in fact programmed to produce them.

As I understand, the "Fail" indicator on an AHB lights up when the barriers have remained down for longer than 4(?) minutes. This can be due to TCF, or a train standing foul of the LX or other such abnormal circumstances. (As the barriers fail down, it 'should' be possible to send a train across without penalty)
It does happen in SH when forced via use of F11 TC control, probably just that it's unlikely to occur due to the locations of the AHBCs.

I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either.
