Hi all I would like to print off signalling diagrams of the more complex sims to get to grips with the layout. The scrolling sims are huge in size (Bristol 118.11 x 8.26 inches!), has anyone tried to print the diagrams off and if so what settings does one reccomend? I will be printing off an "work" printer but lets keep that to ourselves Regards Mike Log in to reply |

For those without industrial printers, there is an option for those who open the files with the Abode reader. In the "Print" pop-up window you can "Print Current View". It is a bit of a ball-breaker, but you need to print then scroll, print again and so on until you get to the far end of the diagram. At one stage that tip was on the Wiki, but I can't find it now.

You could always visit your local printers and get them to do it as one big banner.

I knew I'd written it up once in the dim distant past! Thanks, Meld. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

The latest version of Adobe Reader (X) has in the print dialog page scaling options "Tile large pages" which should print it over multiple pages. You may need to go into the printer driver settings to get the page orientation the right way around first though.
