hi guys

just a note to say i have submitted this timetable, now available in the downloads section.

essentially not mega different from the default tt but with a few fixes and modifications to the default timetable

1. trains booked to stop at maltby do so at the down loop rather than SB preventing irritating phonecalls and ex worksop trains blocking the single line

2. trains entering from maltby FHH now do so from maltby colliery. this ensures they actually enter the sim

3. run rounds at maltby have been added where appropriate

I seem to have encountered a problem in this timetable. 4W03 wandered into the sim, from Cottam PS, destined for Worksop Down Rec 1. I brought it along the line and ended by setting a route from signal WP625 to stop board DR1. The train happily drove off into the receiving line… and then got eaten by a grue. Gone, vanished, from the train list. The timetable said it was supposed to become 4D37 and drive out towards Doncaster departing at 11:20. It’s now 11:30 sim time and neither 4W03 nor 4D37 is anywhere to be found!

Try this. Go to 4D37's TT using F4.
In the Train Details show Entry Point as "Worksop Down Rec".
Show Entry Time as 11:20.
Press "Ok". You will receive an Error message. Click "Cancel". You should find that the TT has been updated and 4D37 will appear when 4W03 arrives at Worksop.

Yes, that appears to have fixed it. Now it for some strange reason decided to start out Up and get stuck at WP262, and ordering it to reverse just makes it drive around a bit, stop at the stopping point, and reverse itself again. However, clearing WP262 let it out onto the mainline, and I’m sure I’ll be able to shunt it around to somewhere useful from here.

sorry for the late reply- as barry has pointed out, trains drop off the sim if they have no further timing points after worksop S.S. the Fix Barry has provided works fine.

as this TT is merely a few alterations to the existing TT, it might be worth renaming the thread to the 2009 timetable for people to reference in future?

Another minor note: 4R05-2 is timetabled to go from Worksop to a place called “Worksop SS (Remove location)” and then back to Worksop. I assumed SS meant Station Sidings, so I assumed I would bring it into reception siding 1, reverse it into the station sidings, bring it back out of the station sidings to reception siding 1, and then bring it back from reception siding 1 to Worksop station proper. Instead, as soon as it got to reception siding 1, it stepped the timetable and decided it was time to go back out to Worksop station. Kind of unintuitive; maybe this should be updated to refer to a reception siding or else adjusted to actually use the station sidings?
